How We Use
Your Information

We believe privacy isn't fine print — it's a promise. This page tells you exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never, ever do with it.

Effective Date: January 1, 2025  |  Last Updated: January 1, 2025

We will never sell your information.
Full stop. No asterisk. No exceptions.

In an industry where your phone number can be sold dozens of times before you've even spoken to an agent, we chose a different path. When you share your information with Quiet Life Family Insurance, it stays with Quiet Life Family Insurance. It is used for one purpose and one purpose only: to help you find the coverage that is right for your family. Everything on this page is our legally binding commitment to you — written in plain English, the way it should be.

Never Sold
Your data is never sold, rented, or traded to any third party — period.
1-to-1 Consent
You consented to hear from us — us only. Not fifty agents you've never heard of.
Your Rights Honored
Access, correct, or delete your data at any time. We honor every request, no questions asked.
Minimum Collection
We only collect what we genuinely need to find you the right coverage — nothing more.
Plain-Language Policy
No legalese designed to confuse. We say what we mean, exactly as we mean it.
Opt-Out, Anytime
Unsubscribe from any communication instantly. We make it easy — not difficult.

  • Use your information to contact you about unrelated products or services
  • Share your information with other insurance agencies or agents not employed by Quiet Life Family Insurance

4. One-to-One Consent & the TCPA

TCPAFCC 202447 U.S.C. § 227

Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the FCC's 2024 one-to-one consent rule (effective January 27, 2025), companies are required to obtain prior express written consent from consumers before contacting them via autodialed calls, prerecorded messages, or text messages — and that consent must be granted to each individual seller separately.

What This Means for You

  • When you submit our quote form, you are consenting to be contacted by Quiet Life Family Insurance only — not a marketplace of anonymous agents
  • We do not use shared consent forms or lead aggregators that distribute your number to multiple companies simultaneously
  • If we call or text you, it is because you specifically asked us to — at the number you provided and at the time you selected
  • We maintain dated records of every consent, including the disclosure language shown to you at the time of submission

Your Right to Revoke Consent

You may revoke your consent to be contacted at any time and by any reasonable means — including replying STOP to any text message, calling us directly, or sending a written request by email. We will honor your revocation immediately and no later than within 10 business days, as required by law.

National Do Not Call Registry: 16 C.F.R. Part 310 We scrub our contact lists against the National Do Not Call Registry and maintain our own internal Do Not Call list. If you ask us not to call you, that request is permanent and honored.

5. Sharing & Disclosure — The Honest Version

GLBA15 U.S.C. § 6801

The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) requires financial institutions — including insurance agencies — to explain how they share and protect customer data. Here is our complete, unambiguous disclosure:

We Share With

  • Insurance Carriers (with your consent): When you proceed toward a quote or application, we submit necessary information to the carrier(s) you agree to be contacted by. We tell you which carrier before we submit anything.
  • Service Providers: We may use limited third-party tools for secure email delivery or website hosting. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing their service to us.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or regulatory examination — and only to the extent required.

We Never Share With

  • Lead generation companies, data brokers, or marketing aggregators
  • Other insurance agencies or independent agents outside our organization
  • Any entity for the purpose of marketing products or services to you without your explicit consent
  • Social media platforms or advertising networks for targeting purposes
GLBA Opt-Out: Under federal law, you have the right to opt out of certain information-sharing practices with non-affiliated third parties. Because we do not share your data with non-affiliated third parties for marketing purposes, this right is already exercised on your behalf — by default.

6. Email Communications & CAN-SPAM

CAN-SPAM Act15 U.S.C. § 7701

Every email we send complies with the CAN-SPAM Act. This means:

  • Our emails clearly identify Quiet Life Family Insurance as the sender
  • Subject lines accurately reflect the content of the email — no misleading headers
  • Every commercial email includes our valid physical mailing address
  • Every email includes a clear, functional, and easy-to-use unsubscribe link
  • We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days — though we typically process them immediately
  • We do not send email to addresses obtained without proper consent

If you receive an email from us that you did not expect or did not consent to, please contact us immediately at privacy@quietlifefamilyinsurance.com. We take these reports seriously.

7. How We Protect Your Data

GLBA Safeguards Rule16 C.F.R. Part 314

Under the GLBA Safeguards Rule, we are required to implement and maintain a comprehensive information security program. We take this obligation seriously — not because we are required to, but because your trust depends on it.

  • All data submitted through our website is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS connections
  • Access to your personal information is restricted to licensed agents and staff with a documented need to access it
  • We conduct regular assessments of our data security practices and update them as threats evolve
  • In the event of a data breach that may affect your information, we will notify you promptly and in accordance with applicable state breach notification laws
  • We do not store sensitive data (such as payment information) on our own servers — any payment processing is handled by certified, compliant third-party processors
No system is perfect. While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We are transparent about this limitation and will always communicate openly in the event of any incident that may affect your data.
